“Human Appeal International will host its first annual Year 12 Muslim Achievement Awards 2007. These awards are in recognition of all Victorian Muslim Year 12 students who received an entry score of 90% and above. As a non profit charitable organisation, it is our way of giving back to the community and demonstrating our eagerness to work together”, says Bashar Al Jamal, HAI Regional Director.

“Each student will be presented with a Certificate of Excellence and a well deserved gift. We will also present the parents of each student with a Certificate of Appreciation for their inspiration, sacrifice and support” said Gulcan Caliskan, HAI Marketing Coordinator.

“This is the first event of its kind in Victoria. We are confident that the goodwill of our intentions will motivate these students and those sitting year 12 now to aspire to do their best. This is an affirmation of young Australian Muslims achieving great strides, and having their community recognise this” said Ms Caliskan.

The event will take place at Laila Reception, 451 Sydney Rd Brunswick on the 16 March 2008. Invited guest include MP’s, Community Leaders and Embassy officials.
