Granville South Creative & Performing Arts High School Iftar

For the third year, Human Appeal Australia sponsored Ramadan Iftar dinner at the Granville South Creative & Performing Arts High School on Tuesday the 14 of May. The event was a great success with hundreds of students, parents and teachers from different faiths in attendance.

Every year, an Iftar is hosted where Muslims and Non-Muslims break bread, share a meal and unite as a school community. This experience of coming together is much needed in our time.

A range of delicious food was served and everyone enjoyed the evening.

About 100 people attended the school’s Community Iftar, including Lynda Jane VOLTZ, MP

Julia Dorothy FINN, MP and Glenn Enmore, Deputy Mayor (Cumberland Council).

Human Appeal International Australia is proud to be involved with events that celebrate multiculturalism by bringing people of different backgrounds together in the spirit of sharing and caring.
