Lebanon: 6,000 Food Parcels Delivered Amid Dire Conditions

Back to News

An ongoing war, neighbourhoods demolished and millions of people impacted. Authorities in Lebanon have now reported over 4,300 killed in with at least 360,000 still displaced, since the war escalated in the country’s South earlier this year.

As part of the active emergency relief efforts, Human Appeal Australia has delivered 6,000 food parcels to be distributed to thousands of beneficiaries – including families affected in the South and those displaced in the North.

A Human Appeal Australia delegation travelled to Lebanon to oversee distributions including Mr. Issam Chaouk, Director of Projects & Financial Resources Development; Mr. Ali Kadir, SA State Manager; Mr. Omar Al-Jamal, Marketing Manager and Mr. Faisal Khan, Public Relations Officer.

With devastation still unfolding in Lebanon, our work continues to help families who have lost everything receive the vital support they need.
