OUR WORK
In the midst of human strife and distress, you’ll find us. Spanning across 39 countries through 4 different continents, Human Appeal Australia (HAA) is dedicated to expanding its purpose to strengthen humanity’s resistance against debilitating circumstances whether it is war, poverty or natural disasters. At HAA, our generous supporters are one of the core pillars on which our mission stands on. Contributions made by donors across Australia and neighbouring countries are utilised to provide essential humanitarian relief at the highest standards to various disadvantaged communities all over the world.
Our work covers local and global communities, as we strive to implement a number of charitable community initiatives which include social, educational and international projects. We operate from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, including a number of overseas partners worldwide. Through this we aim to establish sustainable ties with various networks as well as invest in long term developments within communities.

Our History

We work WITH the community – FOR the community. That is the vision that inspires and fuels our goal at Human Appeal Australia, since the organisation’s establishment in 1991. Step by step, we strive to make this vision a reality by reflecting these values through our ongoing efforts for over 3 decades. Our mission is to extend a lifeline and build self-sustaining programs for those in dire need. We want to grant people all over the world a means to shape their own futures and make a difference for themselves.
