In 2007, Human Appeal Australia launched an event that would change the way Australian Muslims experienced entertainment. The Sounds of Light Charity Concert was born – a night bringing together communities united by a single purpose: giving orphaned children around the world a better chance at life.

Over seven consecutive years, the concerts drew more than 60,000 attendees across Auckland, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney – directly funding the sponsorship of more than 8,000 orphans worldwide.

For children without access to education, food or healthcare, Sounds of Light is more than a concert. It’s a lifeline.
