Human Appeal Australia recently welcomed Dr Abdurrahman Asaroglu, Managing Director of Gallipoli Home, for a meeting with Human Appeal Australia Director, Mr Bashar Al-Jamal, focused on strengthening support for elderly members of the community.

During the visit, Dr Asaroglu shared insights into the work of Gallipoli Home and discussed the growing needs of the elderly residents in its care. The meeting provided an opportunity to explore practical ways both organisations can work together to ensure seniors receive the care, comfort and dignity they deserve.

As part of this commitment, Human Appeal Australia agreed to sponsor an upgrade of the solar system at Gallipoli Home, helping improve the facility’s sustainability and supporting a more reliable and comfortable environment for its elderly residents.

Human Appeal Australia also committed to supporting initiatives that assist elderly people in the wider community, with both organisations exploring opportunities for an ongoing partnership.

The meeting reflected a shared vision between Human Appeal Australia and Gallipoli Home: to ensure our elderly are valued, cared for and supported to live with dignity, particularly at the stage of life when they need their community most.
