On Wednesday 9th April 2025 – Amman, Jordan

Human Appeal proudly welcomed a group of 38 Year 11 students from Malek Fahd Islamic School, Australia, as part of their school’s leadership program focused on humanitarian service and global awareness. The program, hosted in Jordan, offers students an immersive experience into the realities of humanitarian aid, with a strong emphasis on empathy, leadership, and service to humanity.

The group’s first day was nothing short of impactful. The students had the unique opportunity to meet with orphans supported by Human Appeal. In a heartfelt gathering, the students presented the orphans with thoughtful gifts, strengthening bonds of compassion and solidarity. The highlight of the visit was a moving performance by the incredibly talented orphans, a moment that left a lasting impression on the entire group.

Following this, the students journeyed to the northeastern border with Syria, where they engaged directly in aid distribution for displaced Syrian families. They handed out essential food parcels, electric fans, and clothing—items that provide both relief and dignity to those living under difficult circumstances. The students also shared hot meals with the refugee families, breaking bread together in a powerful moment of connection and humanity.

As they visited the humble tents that now serve as homes for many refugees, the students listened to personal stories of loss, resilience, and hope. The experience was deeply eye-opening, providing the boys with a grounded perspective on global hardship and the importance of sustained humanitarian support.

This leadership program marks a significant step in shaping the next generation of change-makers—compassionate, informed, and ready to serve.
