Qurban
Every year during the month of Dhul-Hijjah, Muslims around the world perform Qurban.
فَكُلُوا۟ مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا۟ ٱلْبَآئِسَ ٱلْفَقِيرَ
“So eat of them [sacrificial animal] and feed the desperate and poor”
(Surah al-Hajj 22:28)
Qurban is more than a ritual. It is an act of devotion that not only connects us to the legacy of Prophets Ibrahim and Ismail (AS) but is also a profound source of hope for the most vulnerable people on earth.
In places like Gaza, Sudan and Yemen, millions struggle to secure even basic food. Meat has become a luxury many rarely see.
Your Qurban changes that. For impoverished communities, this is often the only time all year they’re able to eat a full, nutritious meal – mad
