Human Appeal Australia has officially entered into a strategic partnership with UNICEF Australia, marking a significant step forward in collaborative humanitarian efforts across multiple regions in need.

The partnership agreement was formally signed during a visit to UNICEF Australia’s office on Tuesday 7th April, bringing together senior leadership from both organisations. Representing Human Appeal Australia were Director Bashar Al-Jamal, Director of Projects Issam Chaouk, Finance Manager Mohamed Razeen, and Marketing Manager Omar Al-Jamal. From UNICEF Australia, CEO Tony Stuart, accompanied by Director of International, Felicty Weaver, Senior Partnerships Manager, Zunilka Casmenco Whitnall, Head of International Programs, Charlotte Graham and Partnerships Manager, Paul Johnson, attended the signing and co-signed the agreement alongside Bashar Al-Jamal.

This partnership will focus on delivering impactful development work across Haiti, Sudan, and Zimbabwe—three regions facing ongoing humanitarian and socio-economic challenges. By combining resources and expertise, and on-the-ground networks, both organisations aim to strengthen program delivery and expand the reach of essential services, including food security, healthcare, education, and sustainable development initiatives, for children and their communities

The signing of this agreement signals a new chapter of cooperation between the two organisations, grounded in a shared vision of alleviating suffering and building resilient communities worldwide.

As this partnership moves forward, both Human Appeal Australia and UNICEF Australia remain committed to transparency, impact, and delivering measurable outcomes that improve lives of children across the globe.
