Almost one third of Bangladesh has been affected by floods due to the continuous heavy rainfall during their monsoon season and as a result, killing over 160 people with an estimated 1.5million displaced.

This has escalated the country to a state of national emergency as it has caused fears of more COVID-19 infections. The country is already reporting 266,498 confirmed cases with 3,513 deaths as of late with these numbers still rising.

Bangladesh already has an influx of over a million Rohingya refugees living in make shift-shelters as well so these floods are just making their lives even more difficult.
