Gaza Faces Worst Humanitarian Collapse Since War Began

Since the beginning of March 2025 until now, no aid has been allowed to enter The Gaza Strip, marking the longest period of blockage since the start of the war.

The UN World Food Programme warns that food stocks in Gaza are running out as countless humanitarian aid trucks have come to a complete stop at the borders.

This unprecedented ban on supplies has resulted in a rapid decline of vital resources, namely nutrition and water. The collapse of the ceasefire on March 18th has also added to the devastation, driving millions of civilians into a deeper and more catastrophic state of living than ever before.

According to UNICEF, over one million children in Gaza now face a renewed risk of famine – adding that without the essential supplies there will likely be a surge in diseases, malnutrition and preventable child deaths.

The damage is unlike anything we have seen before, and it is deteriorating more as we speak.

Human Appeal Australia is on the ground right now using what is available to produce and distribute hot meals as well as vegetable parcels to families trapped in desperate conditions. Our team is also actively distributing clean, desalinated water from our designated solar-powered water wells.

Projects include:

Help us urgently provide critical nutrition and water access to those who have been deprived of the bare minimum for over 18 months now.
