In what seems to be one of the worst torrential floods in recent times, the people of Southern Queensland & Northern NSW have been subject to extreme weather conditions.

Many residents in Queensland such as Mary, Logan, Brisbane, Bremer rivers & Warrill Creek have been severely affected as well as flood-prone areas such as Lismore in NSW.

Unfortunately, 8 people have already died in the in the floods with more than 15,000 homes estimated to have been flooded in Brisbane. Another 54,000 homes are now struggling without any power.

Human Appeal’s team has already coordinated with local emergency services to see as to how we can provide assistance to those in need.

We’ll be distributing our emergency food pack and essentials kit to the affected victims of the floods to aid them in getting by this difficult time.
