On behalf of Fletcher International Exports Pty Ltd, the Owner Mr. Roger Fletcher, Group General Manager of Marketing and Development Mr. Bernard Goosh paid a special visit to the headquarters of Human Appeal Australia in Lakemba this week, where he met with Director Br Bashar Al-Jamal, Chairman Br Riyad Qasim and Director of Projects Br Issam Chaouk. The visit marked a celebration of the longstanding partnership between the two organisations, which has now spanned over 30 years.
The meeting highlighted the pivotal role this collaboration has played in supporting Human Appeal Australia’s annual Qurban Campaign — a global initiative that ensures thousands of vulnerable families around the world receive fresh, high-quality meat during the season of sacrifice.
“We are proud to work alongside Human Appeal Australia to meet the growing demand for Australian lamb and beef during this sacred time,” said Mr. Fletcher. “This partnership reflects our shared values of quality, compassion, and commitment to community.”

With the 2025 Qurban season approaching, discussions focused on logistics, quality assurance, and scaling operations to accommodate the expected increase in demand. Both parties reaffirmed their dedication to upholding the highest standards in the sourcing and distribution of meat, ensuring every Qurban is carried out with care, efficiency, and integrity.
Mr. Al-Jamal expressed his appreciation for the partnership, stating, “Fletcher International has been a cornerstone of our Qurban program for over three decades. Their consistent support has allowed us to deliver on our promise to donors and recipients alike — providing dignity and nourishment during a spiritually significant time.”
