On Tuesday morning, HAA Director Bashar Al-Jamal visited the headquarters of IHH, one of Human Appeal’s long standing field partners and the largest Turkish NGO in Istanbul.
A meeting was held with the board & leadership team to firstly thank them for their long history of partnership in the charitable field as well as strategizing how the two organisations can cooperate to serve disadvantaged communities in the foreseeable future.
One of the incredible outcomes of the meeting was Human Appeal’s commitment to renovating a damaged school in the city of Malatya as well as distributing 50 container homes with their complete foundations that will become the residences of multiple of families, both regions being affected from the devastated earthquakes that struck Turkey earlier this year.
