On Thursday, 7 June 2018, Homebush Boys High School has held another successful school community iftar displayed the beauty of its cultural diversity and inclusion
A dinner was held for the school community, with an invitation extended to our whole school, including students, families, teachers and members of our community
The purpose was to promote the cultural diversity within our school and to share with our community the experience of Muslim fasting and breaking the fasting.
Every year, an Iftar is hosted where Muslims and Non-Muslims break bread, share a meal and unite as a school community. This experience of coming together is much needed in our time.
The hall was set up beautifully and the night was a great success and an enjoyable experience for everyone.
