A local single mother has received much needed support from Human Appeal Australia, after her interview on national radio received widespread attention online. The Croydon Park local expressed genuine concerns regarding the rising costs of fuel and overall living, stating that she fears she will not be able to support her children much longer.
Mayor of Canterbury Bankstown Mr. Bilal El-Hayek reached out to Human Appeal Australia and upon hearing the call for help, the organisation’s Community Care Division led by Mr. Amin El-Bureeny managed to organise vouchers worth $2,000 to help cover the cost of fuel, food and other essential items for the family.
Despite HAA’s extensive global humanitarian reach, there remains a strong commitment to stand by and serve the communities in need right here in Australia.
The team at HAA is grateful to have been able to provide this support and alleviate the struggle from a fellow member of the community.
