Students at Western Grammar School in Sydney have collected an outstanding total of $9,213 in funds towards the Orphan Sponsorship Program at Human Appeal Australia (HAA).
The Islamic educational institution, which holds 350 students from Kindergarten to Year 12, had set up a goal for each classroom to raise a certain amount dedicated to their designated orphans. The targets set were exceeded at an exceptional rate, having raised the total amount in just 2 weeks.
Our orphan sponsorship program at Human Appeal Australia focuses on building a lifeline for children and their extended family members and this incredible initiative will better the lives of many less fortunate children all over the world.
HAA representatives visited the school where school captains presented the donation during the morning assembly in recognition of their amazing efforts.
