The Prophet (PUBH) said: “You smiling in the face of your brother is Sadaqa (charity).” [Tirmidhi]
Make a general donation.
Sadaqa is a broad term to be defined as it can be almost any act of good such as a simple smile. Generally, a Sadaqa is a donation given voluntarily to poor people, providing them with the necessities of life. A donor can make a general donation (otherwise known as Sadaqa) at any time.
HAA will put this Sadaqa towards one of its charity funds. For this kind of donation, the donor can decide to which destination he or she wants the Sadaqa to go. They may also select a fund of their choice (e.g. orphans, wells, or any of our other charity projects).
