The violent uprising that has been occurring in Myanmar has left destruction everywhere in its wake. The ethnic cleansing occurring in the country that has targeted the Rohingya population is forcing its people to abandon their homes making them displaced within their country and many more seeking refuge elsewhere.
Over 100,000 Rohingya refugees have escaped the violence to Bangladesh and another 56,000 refugees are currently residing in Malaysia. These are just the numbers since October this year. Entire villages are being burned to the ground. Since 2012, there are over 250,000 displaced Rohingya people with more than 150,000 individuals displaced internally.
With the threat of being killed on one hand, the Rohingya people are forced to deal with the lack of food on the other. Around 150,000 people need food aid, and 42,000 of them are threatened from malnutrition whilst 30,000 of them are children.
The Rohingya people are in need of immediate relief. With your help we can provide support by distributing food, shelter and medical aid. Your contribution can really help save a life in need.
