Over the past weekend, Human Appeal Australia’s Director, Mr Bashar Al-Jamal, made his way to Bosnia for the purpose of supervising our Qurban campaign distribution.
Mr Al-Jamal met with the Grand Mufti of Bosnia & Herzegovina, H.E Husein Kavazovic, to discuss how Human Appeal Australia can best utilise its resources to provide aid to those in need within the region.
This was followed by a visit to Kovači cemetery to pay respects to the martyrs of the Srebrenica massacre of 1995.
Mr Al-Jamal also took the time to meet with some of Human Appeal’s graduates from our orphan sponsorship program to review their progress. He was delighted to see that these orphans whom where once part of Human Appeal Australia’s sponsorship program, have now grown up & entered the workforce to progress within their individual careers, becoming dependant people that can now rely on themselves and care for their families.
