Over the past week, Human Appeal’s Director, Bashar Al-Jamal was in Sudan supervising the implementation of our emergency campaign to aid those affected by the recent mass floods.
More than 1000 food parcels, 500 mosquito nets and mobile medical clinics that treated over 1000 patients were mobilised & distributed in affected regions throughout the country such as Umm Durman, Dibagha, Halfia Elmouluk, Kabushiya & Al-Remila.
Mr Al-Jamal also met with the General Commissioner of Sudan’s Humanitarian Aid Commission, Mr Abass Ali, to discuss how to best utilise Human Appeal’s resources to support the victims of the floods & possibility of building a community village to provide temporary shelter for displaced families within the affected areas.
